Here’s the thing about cigarettes:
They all taste the same!
Sure some of them claim to be “bold” or “light” but in the end, they all have they nasty cigarette taste and nothing else.
Don’t you wish you had some variety in your smoking experience?
It’s for that exact reason that we’re here to talk about the best e-juice options on the market.
E-juice is the fuel that you use to vape if you’re not smoking herbs.

This stuff comes in all kinds of forms and flavors.
Even if you like the taste of tobacco, you can have it without all the nasty side effects of cigarettes! I know this all sounds too good to be true, but just wait until you see some of these options. You’ll be vaping in no time!

Today’s products are aimed at beginners or those who aren’t sure where to go next with their vape juice. We’ve sampled this flavors ourselves and they made the cut, but keep in mind that flavor is about as subjective as it gets.
One person’s holy grail of e-juice is another person’s garbage heap, so keep that in mind while you’re reading. If the description catches your eye, you’re good to go.
That being said, if you’ve just entered the world of vaping, you’ll need to consider the PG/VG ratios found in your e-liquids of choice. If those acronyms have you scratching your head, don’t worry we’ll explain them.
In a broad sense, PG and VG are odorless liquids that mix both flavors and nicotine (in some cases) together to create e-juice. When they are heated, they turn into a vapor that you can safely inhale. You’ll also taste their inherent flavors in doing so.
Most of the e-juice you’ll find has a certain ratio of PG and VG to give a different experience in terms of the following factors:
- Throat Hit – For smokers, the feeling you get when you feel that sharp hit on the back of your throat is half the fun. E-liquids with high PG levels offer this effect.
- Smoothness – If you want a less harsh vape on your throat, then choose something with high VG levels. While more VG can dampen the flavor, you can fix this by upping the wattage and producing more vapor.
- Stealth Vaping – If you’re trying to sneak in some vaping in a public area, and you don’t want people getting offended, choose something with high PG levels as it will produce less vapor.
- Cloudchasing – A big trend among vaping enthusiasts is “cloudchasing” which involves producing as much vapor as possible. Oftentimes this is done competitively to see who can make the biggest cloud. Your best is high VG liquids in this scenario.
Propylene Glycol (PG)
The “PG” we’ve been talking about? It stands for Propylene Glycol and it’s a by-product of petroleum. I know many people like to run and hide when they hear the names of chemicals, but don’t worry, this one is safe.
In terms of vaping, PG is used to carry nicotine and flavors. It also simulates the classic “throat hit” that most ex-smokers want from their vaping experience.
PG is already used in a lot of different household products and things you interact with on a daily basis:
- Asthma Inhalers
- Medical products taken orally
- Pet Food
- Beauty products like shampoo and baby wipes
Countless studies have shown that ingesting PG is totally safe, and the FDA has also deemed it safe. You’ll hear people in the media talk about this being dangerous, but what they’re really thinking of is ethyl glycol, which has never been, nor will it ever be, used for vaping.
It’s amazing what switching around a few letters can do.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG)
The second major ingredients in today’s e-liquids is Vegetable Glycerin. This is a chemical that is made from vegetable oil, so not only is it safe, but it’s cool for vegetarians to vape. Nice!
VG has a much lighter hit on the back of the throat, so it’s popular for sub-ohm vaping. It has a sweeter taste and it’s much thicker than PG. In many cases the two are mixed together to better suspend nicotine and flavoring.
That being said, there are recipes out there that use a PG alternative to create 100% VG mixes. Much like PG, VG is already found in a lot of things around your house:
- Artificial sweeteners
- Beauty products like aftershave, deodorants, and make-up
- Pet food
- Baked goods
The FDA has given VG its seal of approval, and studies have shown that it is one of the most harmless substances on Earth. The only potential risk here is if you’re allergic to anything like coconut oil or palm oil. Be aware of this prior to vaping for safety reasons.
In the beginning, a lot of people who start vaping will do it in a mouth to lung style that is similar to smoking a cigarette. This is a natural transition from one to the other. Many advanced vaping enthusiasts will also keep the MTL (mouth to lung) style as well.
These e-liquids contain a higher PG ratio to simulate the feel and the throat hit of smoking. That being said, many of these manufacturers will allow you to choose to PG/VG ratio before you buy.

Having recently tried out this line of e-juice, I gotta say, I was impressed. Not only are the packaging and the flavor options amazing, but the company has also partnered with a group of hand-picked e-liquid makers.
These makers, referred to as “artists” were brought together to make this elite line of liquid options. In the end, they came up with five incredible and enticing options, all of which are an absolute joy to vape. See what I did there? It’s funny because the company is called Njoy.

Virgin Vapor E-Juice
Virgin Vapor is a line of organic max VG e-juices. Just let that sink in for a minute. If you thought VG was safe enough on its own, think about an organic mix. This might as well have come straight from the Earth itself at that point.
In all seriousness, this is one of the best and most pure tasting vape juices you can find on the market. Look all you want, but you won’t find any artificial flavors, sweeteners, or additives of any kind in this mix.
Everything they make is done right here in the USA, and it’s completely certified organic. If you’re trying to decide on a flavor, I particularly liked the Razzmatazz and Conconut Conniption options.
Halo High VG
Many e-juices have taken to making higher VG options for the new rise in sub ohm vaping. Halo is no different with their line of high VG options. What they did was take the most popular flavors from their PG line and release them in a brand new series with a high VG ratio.
Not only are these new options high in VG levels, but they also come with a huge selection nicotine options. The standard options are all here: zero, three, six, twelve, and the popular 18/24 ml options.
What makes this brand stand out even more, though, is the option for a 1.5 ml option which is a nice balance between zero and three. Honestly, all vape lines should offer something like this.
These liquids are perfect for sub ohm tanks and RDAs. If you want to start blowing Halo clouds, this is the way.
When it comes to e-juice, you want to know what you’re putting in your lungs. Look for options that are clean and natural, but don’t forget to choose the right ratio for your preferred experience.
